What’s been happening:

Richard Lee Mong, Bachelor of Science, Dairy Science, 1957, is being presented with the First Place Gold Medal in the milk quality judging in the Collegiate Students International Contest. Meadow Gold Company, President Harvey Claxton is making the presentation while Milk Industry Foundation representative Irene Prescott looks on. On October 24th, 1955, Mong competed against seventy-five other students representing twenty-six universities to win the prestigious award. The contest was held in St. Louis, Missouri. Upon graduation Dick joined his family in their dairy products manufacturing business in Seneca, Pennsylvania. He subsequently became company president. In retirement, Richard began a journey of worldwide travel. This includes adventures in many exotic countries including Nepal, Indonesia, Uganda, and Ecuador.
